Piggy Proof is the world’s most advanced protection formula for shoes, clothing and furniture.
The long-lasting, breathable protective coating extremely repels moisture, dirt and oil, makes the material easy to clean and prevents the formation of stains.
Piggy Proof is odourless, water-based and 100% invisible.
Application
This product protects each individual material fibre with thousands of molecules and is suitable for all natural and synthetically absorbent materials such as, for example: cotton, denim, linen, canvas, nubuck, suede, satin, mesh, silk, wool and tweed.
For smooth and artificial leather, use Piggy Proof® Premium Protector for Leather.
Instructions for use
For best results, follow these steps.
Make sure the surface to be treated is clean and dry.
Spray the total surface moist from 10-15 cm distance.
For fibre depth and maximum bonding, gently rub Piggy Proof® in with a clean soft brush. To avoid colour mixing, start with the lightest colours and use a different clean brush for each colour.
Repeat steps 2 and 3 at least once at 10-minute intervals.
Remove Piggy Proof® from non-absorbent materials, such as metal, and dry with a clean absorbent cloth.
Allow to dry at room temperature for at least 24 hours.
Working time
Piggy Proof® Premium Protector for Absorbent Fabrics and Suede protects each individual material fibre with thousands of silica molecules. Provided correctly applied, treated materials are permanently protected.
The protective coating can only be affected by mechanical stress (e.g. very intensive use of shoes) and highly acidic or strongly alkaline agents; in addition, do not use liquids hotter than 60°C on suede and sheepskin.
Should the water- and dirt-repellent effect of treated material become less due to any of the above reasons, the treatment can easily be repeated.
Cleaning and maintenance
If moisture or dirt does not slide off the protected material by itself, rinse it with clean water. Do not rub off moisture or soiling but pat the surface dry with a clean absorbent cloth.
For very heavy soiling, use Piggy Proof® Deep Clean Solution Absorbent Fabrics and Suede. Ensure that the cleaned surface dries thoroughly, after thorough cleaning where the material has been scrubbed and rubbed reapply Piggy Proof® Premium Protector for Absorbent Fabrics and Suede.
